Noreen Kam – McNeil Wilson Communications

 

rethink_noreenNoreen Kam currently serves as an account supervisor in the Travel & Tourism division of McNeil Wilson Communications in Honolulu. Kam provides public relations services to clients including Marriott Resorts Hawai‘i, The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Kapalua Bay and the Honolulu Festival.

Kam has four years of public relations experience and has been with McNeil Wilson Communications for over two years. Previously, Kam served as a senior account executive at both Communications Pacific and Bright Light Marketing Group. She also served as executive assistant to Director of Transportation Rodney Haraga, providing media and community relations for the State Department of Transportation.

Before getting into the public relations field, Kam worked for nearly a decade in the Hawaii television industry. She first served as a news producer for KITV and KHNL, where she produced daily newscasts, edited news stories and organized guest appearances and live reports. Kam then used her news skills to work in television promotions at KITV. As a creative services senior writer/producer, Kam was responsible for writing, producing and editing television spots that promoted daily newscasts, the news team and special programming, such as the annual Merrie Monarch hula festival.

Born in Japan and raised on Oahu, Kam holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. She is also a board member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Hawaii chapter.
